Hi guys!! A couple days ago, I had the opportunity to attend a Fashion Event hosted by Vogue at Nordstrom located in Green Hills Mall. The event was very much like a social where you mingle, have cocktails, and they also had a fashion show in the midst of it all. The fashion show focused on the Spring collection from the designers carried in Nordstrom such as Gucci, Channel, and the likes of.
As for my look, like usual I had to rush to find something to wear since the event started only an hour after I left work! The dress that I wanted to wear had not arrived so I had to improvise. I decided to keep it laid back and effortless. I've been dying to wear my Leopard Tweed Track pants, so I let those be the focal point and just added a black sheer top with a statement necklace. I nearly hated this look but you would not believe how many compliments I received so in this case less was indeed more :)
These YSL pumps didn't last all night, I had to pull out my trusty Steve Madden Deja Vu's!
Here are a few looks from the Fashion Show. It was set up more like a gallery because the models only walked to and from their destination.
My Camera died after taking only a few pictures so most of these pictures were taken with my Iphone. I apologize for the poor quality.
I LOVED this Sequin look! Never too much!
The icing on the cake was having the honor to meet the Editor-at-large of Vogue himself, Mr. Andre Leon Talley!! He is the Fashion Godfather! He was very strict when it came to pictures so he did not allow me to get someone to take our picture together, instead he allowed his photographer to take the picture with his own camera. Whenever the photos are released, I will be sure to show them to you all.
I had a blast meeting everyone and can't wait to attend another! I could definitely get used to this ;)
