Monochrome

Hi guys!! I'm am here with a quick OOTN. This past weekend I went to a comedy club to see comedian, Arnez J. It was extremely windy and the temperature dropped tremendously so i definitely wanted to be warm.

I decided to do a monochromatic look, which I seem to be living in this season, and add a pop of color!

Who says you have to put away your neons for the fall? I love the way my neon pink lips and clutch added a fun twist to my black and white outfit.

Leather Sleeves

Hi guys! If you are subscribed to my Youtube channel, PocketsandBowsTV, then you may recognize this jacket from my Pre-Fall Haul video! I love this jacket because it can add a bit of edge to any outfit without being over the top, plus it is extremely comfortable.

This jacket has been in heavy rotation ever since I purchased it so I thought i'd share with you all one of the ways I styled it.

In this outfit, I decided to make the jacket the focal point and played it down with a black midi length dress and silver accessories.

Military Chic

Hi guys!! I went to the Miguel concert last night and of course I waited until the last minute to figure out what I wanted to wear. I knew I wanted to be comfortable because I wasn't sure if it was at a standing venue, but I also wanted to be a little bit Glam since it was a night event.

I opted to go for a Military Chic inspired look. I went with a black and white color scheme for the chic element along with gold accessories and a red/orange lip which gave me that touch of Glam that I was going for.

Though I kept telling my friend that I felt I was channeling Michael Jackson (-__-), overall, I think the look came together quite nicely for a last minute deal.

Blazer (worn as top): Forever 21
Leggings: Forever 21

Shoes/Bag: Zara

I also have a new hairstyle! What do you ladies think?

Thank you all for the support and for taking the time out to view my blog :)

This is for them 20 Somethins'...

Hi guys!! As some of you may know, my 25th birthday was October 4th, so I decided to celebrate with my friends over food and great laughs.

I wanted to be comfortable, yet still command a bit of attention with my outfit so I wore this Polka Dot playsuit. I love this playsuit because it features a large keyhole in the front and the back. The tie waist is also great because it cinches me in at the smallest part of my waist. Overall, I kept the look very simple with gold accessories and a pop of leopard print.

I loved this look because it was sophisticated yet fun and playful; Perfect for bringing in my 25th year.

Playsuit: Asos
Shoes: Steve Madden
Handbag: Zara
Bracelet: Michael Kors
Lipstick: Mac Scarlet Ibis (Marilyn Monroe Collection)

The celebration is not over yet! I'll be taking a mini road trip this weekend so stay tuned for more pictures :)
