Think Outside The Dress

Hey guys! I wore this look recently and I was finally able to wear one of my new favorite pieces in my wardrobe which is this Zara inspired Tie Dye Maxi dress. Instead of wearing as a dress, I wore it open as a long kimono over a pair of denim cutoffs for a more laid back look since I was going to a cook out.

I love the earth tone color palette and it went perfect with my cognac sandals! I had a bohemian vibe going on which is a little different for me, but I was feeling it.

I hope you enjoy this look as well :)

Walking Shorts

Hey guys! It's been a little while since I've posted, I wish I had a good excuse but the truth is I just haven't been as motivated lately. When creativity is your outlet sometimes you have to take a step back to get re-inspired, re-motivated, rejuvenated. I'm sure my fellow bloggers know what I mean :)

I was actually very hesitant about posting these pictures because i felt the quality was not up to my standard and my goal is to become a lot more diverse with my scenery, however I posted a pic on my instagram and many of you wanted to know the details of this look so here it is! Not to mention I love this look because it encompasses my style so perfectly! Chic and Laid back.

So despite the quality I hope you guys enjoyed this look as much as I enjoyed wearing it!

Floral Fix

I loved this floral dress from the first time I saw it which was a few months ago, however it was in the long sleeve version. I missed out on that so when I saw that H&M made a sleeveless version I snatched it up immediately!

The way this dress drapes with it's high sides makes this very flattering and adds a little interest to an otherwise boring skater dress.

Hope you all had an amazing Memorial Day! Talk to you soon :)

Seventeen Magazine Feature!

Hi Guys! I have amazing News! I am featured in the April issue of Seventeen Magazine!

I remember as a teenager, dreaming of being a writer for this magazine and even majored in Communications with a minor in journalism to pursue that dream. I eventually refocused my major (thinking I needed a more realistic goal) to the corporate side of communications. With that said, I gave up the hope that I would be able to write for a major publication like Seventeen Magazine, but never in a million years did I imagine that there was a possibility of me being featured in the magazine, let alone having a whole page to my self!

This blog has brought me many great opportunities to be thankful for  and proud of but this one has to be one of the most exciting because I really feel like this is a full circle moment and it's all because of you guys continuing to support me and this blog! So Thank You!! Your support turned my unimaginable dream into a reality!

I hope you guys will check me out on Pg. 54 of the April Issue and let me know what you think!
